Kit Eakle and Lewis Patzner, the string players of 'DjangoSphere," will introduce beginners and seasoned performers alike to unusual, but simple techniques for creative improvisation.

This workshop will explore simple tunes and methods of improvisation that will allow you to stretch out and give you improvisational skills that open up your own personal creative expression. The workshop will focus on a few classic tunes by Django Reinhardt and Thelonious Monk, demonstrating simple methods for freeing your soloing, as well as an introduction to Free Improvisation techniques and formats that will allow you to make up music on the spot and free your playing in all styles of music.
